Puppies are  a big responsibility. They need lots of care and attention.   Never buy a puppy on an impulse. Be sure you have researched and talked to many people  so you fully understand the commitment that raising a puppy and caring for them now and as adults requires.  Training them takes lots of time and patience.  Toy breeds can take several months of consistent  potty training to be reliable.  The key to sucess is patience and consistency. Choose a plan and stick to it.  There is good information on training and grooming on the American Shih  Tzu Club Website.  There you will also find information on understanding the traits that are common to this breed.  This is a brachycephlic breed,   That means they have short noses and large eyes. This makes them prone to things such as teething troubles,  many people, even vets are unfamiliar with.    Please note we place all our babies as loving companions and family members only. None are sold for breeding or show at this time.  We love our babies very much and only want the best for them. If you are interested in one of our babies, please call or email.  I will be happy to tell you more about them and also this breed if it would be your first Shih tzu.  Vet references are preferred , but we will also work with those who are getting their first pet as long as they understand  the time and work involved in raising and caring for a puppy, and feel they are ready for that commitment.  These pups have a 2 year genetic health guarantee .

We place our puppies as pets only to loving responsible homes. We reserve the right to refuse to place a puppy in a home we do not feel comfortable with.
A vet reference is preferred but we do work with serious and commited first time puppy owners. We do accept personal checks for deposit only as long as there is a 3 week period for check to clear. Pick up is cash or postal money order only please. Credit cards may be accepted through paypal with a signed contract.
We do not mean to offend all you great honest people and we know most people are honest and would never do such a thing. It is only because we have been burned too many times by the few bad ones that we have this policy.
We work hard , and put our hearts and souls into raising the best puppies for you. The money from puppies goes back into the dogs so they can have the best of everything. When someone gives us a bad check it really hurts. Thank you for your understanding. We may also accept your credit card through paypal with a signed contract that agrees you will not do a charge back and any problems with be handled directly with the breeder.
If you are interested in the paypal option please call me for more info.

DEPOSITS- We do require a deposit of 100.00 to hold a puppy for you.  Deposits are non- refundable except in certain cases.  If something happens to the puppy while under our care or the vet finds life  threatening health condition  that makes puppy unfit for sale , we do refund the deposit. Deposits are good as long as we are breeding dogs and can be applied to another puppy or a later litter if you decide not to take the puppy you have held.

5 week old Louie loves to play with all of the dogs. He is playing with my Shichon here.
