Hello and welcome to Ashanda Shih Tzu. We are small home breeders of quality pet Shih Tzu puppies in PA. Our goal is to produce Shih Tzu that are healthy and beautiful with the sweet loving temperments that make them so special. We hope you will take the time to read our pages and learn more about us, our goals and meet our dogs and puppies. We also have an interest in showing and will be having some dogs shown from time to time.

Ashanda Shih Tzu is a quality breeder with over 28 years experience breeding Shih Tzu puppies. We are located outside of Hazleton, Pennsylvania and help place puppies in happy homes from Harrisburg to Eastern PA and Philadelphia to NYC to upstate New York as well as Northern New Jersey and Southern NJ. We have puppies from Massachusetts, Conn., Rhode Island and down through Virginia, DC, Maryland and West Virginia. Hello and welcome to our website. I have been a breeder for 33 years now as of this past May. I have dedicated my life to breeding beautiful and healthy Shih Tzu that will bring lots of love and joy into your home. My Shih Tzu are all a very important part of my life. They are a part of our family and wonderful loving friends. I am so blessed to share my life with these incredible dogs. Those of you who already own a Shih Tzu will know what I mean. They are so loving and so much a people dog that they seem almost human. They will look at you with eyes so full of love and smile that Shih Tzu smile. You can see the love shining from their eyes. They are very in tune with their owners and know when you need some love and cheering up. They will snuggle and give Shih Tzu hugs. They are devoted and will love you unconditionally. They know when you want to play or will do something silly to make you laugh. They bring so much joy , love and laughter to their families.
If you are interested in any of our puppies or want to know more about the breed give us a call . We love to talk dogs! I am lucky that my family are all also dog lovers.
My husband is a great help to me and my daughters help me with my Shih Tzu now and also have their own dogs. The love and friendship of a good dog is a most wonderful gift. I think people can learn something from them . When I needed them most my dogs have always been there for me. Sadly, I can't say the same for some of my human friends. Breeding to better the Shih Tzu breed and be able to share the love and joy these very special dogs give to their people is one of my greatest joys in life. Thank you to all my Shih Tzu owners who have stayed in touch and taken the time to let me know that my puppies have brough happiness, joy and love to their new families.

Pictured above is beautiful Miss Daisy Mae. She is a Shih Tzu -Pom mix that my daughter calls Pom Poms and many call Shiranians. She has quite a personality! She just graduated from basic Obedience!
