As a breeder I want to do what is best for my dogs. I truly believe that by overvaccinating we are doing them a lot of harm. I changed to a minimal vaccine schedule, and have seen a big difference. There is a lot of useful info here that may help you decide what is the best for your own pets.

This is a link to the American Shih tzu clubs official statement on the so called imperials and tea cups. I have nothing against a smaller end Shih Tzu that is healthy, but I support the ASTC in not breeding for extra tiny tea cup type of dogs on purpose. I dont believe they were ever meant to be 3-5 pounds and continueing to breed super tiny size on purpose is not good for the health of the breed.
