The dogs we have were carefully selected to be calm enough to make good house dogs but also have the instinct to spend a day hunting birds with you. You should know that the GSP is a sporting dog and even the calmer more laid back dogs dogs still need exercise on a regular basis.
if you enjoy long walks, hiking, playing with your dogs ect.. they can make great companions even if you don't hunt. Below you can meet our dogs and see some pictures of them. On October 10th and 11th we got a very special chance to to see two puppies from our 2008 litter run in the SVGSP Club's hunt test in Weatherly ,Pa. . Jackson got his first two legs for his AKC Junior Hunter title and is also a NAVHDA NA prize 1 holder . Congratulations to Jackson and to his owner Bob Shupp for doing a great job with him!
His sister Rush had a great weekend too and we congratulate her and owner Bill Washer on completing her AKC Junior Hunter title! She is also a NAVHDA NA Prize 1 holder.
Thanks to Bill and Bob for inviting us to share this very special day with them. For us this is what it is all about. Spending time with the dogs we love and with great people who love them as much as we do.
This {09-26-09} was a great weekend for us! On Saturday Sept. 26th in NY state both Rush and her brother Jackson earned a NAVHDA NA Prize 1 ! Congratualations to Bill Washer, owner of Rush and Bob Shupp, owner of Jackson! Great job guys! Jackson won an NA prize 2 at just 5 months old and now at 10 months he has scored a perfect 112 points for a prize 1. His sister Rush also has 2 legs of 4 needed for her AKC Junior hunt title. Jackson is also going to run AKC. We are so proud of both of these dogs from our 2008 litter {Dove & Lennon} . We are also proud of the other great puppies who are bringing their families happiness as companions and personal hunting buddies.
Update - We are proud to announce that Jackson has earned the last two legs of his AKC Junior Hunter title at the GSPCA Hunt test in Montour Falls , NY! Congrats Bob and Jackson !! We are proud of you. Now both he and his sister Rush have earned the AKC Junior Hunter title and are also NAVHDA PZ 1 winners. Bob also shared the news with us that now that the tests are done for the year he and Jackson along with Bill and Rush have gone out for a real hunt and brought home several nice pheasants! They have proven they can do the tests and bring home the birds! Great Job Jackson and Rush.

Hello and welcome to our pages! We are a small family breeder of German Shorthaired Pointers. We are located in Northeast Pennsylvania close to I-80 and I 81 . We breed 2-3 litters a year at most as we are not high volume commercial breeders. Our dogs are our family members and hunting partners. They love to spend a day in the woods with us or out in the field having some fun. We have been involved in purebred dogs for 32 years and would be happy to help you find your new family member and hunting buddy if you hunt.
